Paid Media Director – E-commerce
Location: Remote (UK/EU)
Salary: £65,000–£80,000
Type: Permanent | Full Time
We're supporting a fast-growing digital marketing agency to find an experienced Paid Media Director to lead strategy across a portfolio of premium e-commerce brands.
This is a senior strategic role, sitting between senior channel specialists and the leadership team. You'll take ownership of paid media strategy from day one, working directly with clients to align marketing performance with commercial objectives.
The Role:
- Lead paid media strategy across a portfolio of premium e-commerce clients.
- Build performance strategies based on commercial metrics including CAC, LTV, and profitability.
- Act as the senior strategic contact for clients, leading reviews and providing commercial recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for growth and proactively optimize performance across accounts.
- Mentor and develop senior paid media specialists within the team.
- Work collaboratively across paid media, creative, and wider marketing functions.

Experience Needed:

- 7+ years' experience managing Paid Media campaigns, with deep expertise across Meta and strong Paid Search knowledge.
- Experience working with premium e-commerce or consumer brands.
- Strong commercial understanding, with the ability to connect media performance to wider business outcomes.
- Experience discussing attribution, incrementality testing, and modern measurement approaches.
- Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Previous experience within a smaller agency or fast-paced in-house environment where you've had broad strategic responsibility.
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing others.
- Strong understanding of creative strategy for paid social.
- Interest in AI tools and how they're shaping digital marketing.
