Ready to own the strategy? Lead the charge in paid media.

Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Manchester & Lichfield (Flexible Hybrid Working)
Benefits: Private Health Cover | 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays | Employee of the Quarter Awards

This isn't just another paid media job.
This is your opportunity to define strategy, drive real commercial impact, and lead a talented team at one of the most forward-thinking marketing agencies around. If you're a paid media expert who's ready to step into a leadership role - or already there and looking for somewhere that truly values your expertise - we want to hear from you.

What you'll actually be doing

You'll take the reins on paid media strategy across a portfolio of exciting clients, making the big calls on where investment goes, how channels work together, and what opportunities we should be seizing next. This isn't a role where you're executing someone else's plan - you're the one building it.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Owning paid media strategy end-to-end - from defining the approach and frameworks to ensuring everything ladders up to your clients' commercial goals
  • Leading and mentoring a small team, helping them grow their skills, build confidence, and operate across multiple paid media channels
  • Making smart budget decisions based on commercial priorities, marginal returns, and growth opportunities — you'll know where every pound is working hardest
  • Integrating paid media into wider cross-channel strategy, using your insight to shape the bigger marketing picture
  • Introducing new opportunities and driving innovation across the discipline, including harnessing AI tools and workflows to work smarter and deliver better results
  • Building strong senior client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and playing a key role in new business pitches and proposals
  • Communicating strategy clearly and persuasively to senior clients and internal stakeholders — you'll be the person in the room who brings clarity and confidence

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
