Founded in 2008, the agency has offices in Stockport and Bromsgrove and works with ambitious brands seeking measurable growth, stronger visibility, and a performance-driven digital presence. The team combines design, development, SEO, and paid media expertise to deliver data-driven solutions tailored to each client’s goals, audience, and market. Platform81 has partnered with organisations such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, University of Birmingham, BAL Adhesives, the NHS, British Judo, and hundreds of SMEs, earning a 4.9/5 Google rating and multiple industry awards. The agency continually evolves its knowledge and services to keep clients ahead in a fast-changing digital landscape.
Paid media is one of the fastest growing parts of Platform81. We're looking for a Paid Media Manager to run accounts across Google Ads and Meta, working directly with clients rather than through layers of account management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
This is a hands-on role. You'll own your accounts end to end: strategy, build, optimisation, and the client conversation.
What you'll do:
- Run Google Ads accounts independently across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Own Meta strategy and delivery: prospecting, retargeting, creative testing, scaling
- Manage product feeds, including setup and optimisation through feed management tools
- Set and manage budgets against client targets and margins
- Present performance and recommendations directly to clients
- Contribute to audits, pitches, and new account builds
What we're looking for:
- 3 to 5 years agency-side running Google Ads and Meta independently
- Genuine dual-channel depth, not one strong channel and one you can cover
- Feed management and merchant centre knowledge/experience
- Commercial thinking: you understand budgets, targets, and margins, and can talk about them with clients
- Comfortable owning client relationships directly, including the difficult conversations

Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Useful but not essential:
- Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads
- GA4 beyond surface level, BigQuery, or the GA4 export
How we work:
- We reach for AI to kill repetitive work. We run on Claude and a custom MCP stack, and expect you to get comfortable with it quickly
- We're comfortable in data beyond the platform UI. If your analysis stops at the campaign screen, this won't be the right fit
- We say what the data says, to each other and to clients
The practical stuff:
- Based in Stockport, 2 days a week in the office
- Early finishes on Friday
- Quarterly company socials
