Read before you read more…

A quick heads up before you read on. We’re advertising two versions of this role: Paid Media Manager and Senior Paid Media Manager. Same chair, two levels. We’ve done it this way because we’re hiring for experience and aptitude, not just a title, and we didn’t want a brilliant senior person scrolling past, or a strong manager assuming they’re not ready.

This is the Paid Media Manager version. If that’s where you are right now, you’re in the right place. If you’re between the two, apply for whichever feels closest and tell us why in your cover letter. We’d rather you put yourself forward than rule yourself out.

The Role

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Lead, plan and execute campaigns across core paid media channels.
  • Frequently monitor and optimise campaign performance to reach clients’ goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase and deliver sustainable performance across paid media platforms such as Google, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest etc.
  • Efficiently manage your workload, getting the best out of your day for both yourself and your clients.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth across various audiences and channels.
  • Carry out frequent analysis and performance reporting to main stakeholders and clients.
  • Drive strategies as well as guide data-informed tactical decisions.
  • Provide support around marketing strategies and tactical execution.
  • Proactively maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies for paid media.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You

You might not always know exactly how to solve something, but you’ll use your head and try to figure it out. This is because you’re a forward thinking, proactive person who isn’t afraid to use their initiative.

  • You want to be part of a team that’s about the team wins, not the individual accolades, but you’re also driven by the numbers.
  • You want to be part of a team that strives to build genuine relationships.
  • You like to test out new tactics, platforms or approaches, even if they aren’t proven. We aren’t afraid of a little trial and error.
  • You’re a highly proactive individual with a strong sense of ownership.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and analytical/communication skills.
  • You’ve got a get stuff done attitude and like to just give things a go.

The Fine Print

  • At least 2-3 years experience under your belt in PPC & Paid Social, with proven delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Real world experience of dealing with clients (ideally in an agency environment), and achieving their Paid Media objectives.
  • A strong understanding of popular social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Business Manager & LinkedIn Ads.
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification would be a bonus (but not required).
  • Salary between £28,000 – £36,000 depending on what you can bring to the table. We also annually review salaries. The idea is we grow, you grow.
  • Hybrid/blended working. Our office is in central Newcastle, and we split our time 3 days in the office and 2 from home, with a daily flexible working policy built around core hours.
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, because you like to work hard but also play hard.
