Role: Paid Media Manager

Reports to: Growth Marketing Manager

Team: Marketing

Location: Remote working (UK based).

We are currently a remote-first organisation, but hybrid working may be an option in the future.

Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus equity and benefits

Hours: Full-Time

Please note

All communication regarding your application should go through the official application channels or our company careers page. Contacting Vestd employees via email, personal social media, or other informal routes is not appropriate. We also have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of harassment or abuse directed at our team. Candidates who do not respect these boundaries may be disqualified from the recruitment process and, in serious cases, barred from applying in future.

About This Role

Vestd is looking for an experienced Paid Media Manager to help us build on a strong paid acquisition foundation.

Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads are core channels for us today, so we need someone with deep hands-on expertise in both platforms. You should be confident managing, optimising and improving paid campaigns day to day, from account structure and audience targeting to bidding, creative testing, reporting and performance analysis.

But we are not looking for someone who only thinks in terms of existing channels.

The right person will be a paid media specialist with an expansive, commercially curious mindset. You will know how to optimise what is already working, while constantly asking where else we could find qualified demand. That might mean testing new digital channels, sponsorships, partnerships, newsletters, industry publications, communities, events or other routes to market.

You will work closely with our Growth Marketing Manager and wider Marketing team to improve acquisition performance across Vestd’s business units, each with distinct audiences, messaging and commercial goals.

You will also collaborate with Sales, Product, RevOps, Finance and the CRO team to improve targeting, conversion, attribution and ROI.

In short, we are looking for someone who can say:

“I know Google and LinkedIn inside out. I can spot wasted spend quickly and improve performance. But I am also the person asking whether we are missing opportunities in newsletters, sponsorships, communities, YouTube, Reddit, partnerships, events or industry channels.”

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Google and LinkedIn campaigns are well structured, actively optimised and improving quarter on quarter.
  • Paid media is contributing clearly to qualified pipeline, and budget is allocated based on evidence and commercial impact.
  • New acquisition channels are being tested in a structured way, with documented learnings.
  • The wider team has better visibility of what is working, what is not, and where to invest next.
  • Vestd is less reliant on a narrow set of acquisition channels than it was when you joined.

What you’ll own

  • Paid media strategy and optimisation: managing and improving Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads across multiple business units, owning campaign structure, targeting, bidding, creative testing and ongoing performance improvement.
  • Channel development and experimentation: identifying and testing new acquisition channels beyond Google and LinkedIn, designing structured experiments and making evidence-based recommendations on where Vestd should invest.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: working closely with Sales, Product, RevOps, Finance and the CRO team to improve targeting, conversion and attribution; briefing creative partners and supporting ABM activity.
  • Reporting and attribution: connecting paid media activity to commercial outcomes, maintaining clear account structures, and managing relationships with relevant partners, agencies and tools.
  • Learning and innovation: staying close to platform changes and industry trends, using AI and automation to improve efficiency, and sharing knowledge with the broader Marketing team.

  • A proactive, commercially curious mindset: spots issues and opportunities without waiting to be asked.
  • Confident communicating performance and recommendations to non-marketing stakeholders.
  • Proficient with GA4 or similar analytics tools, and experienced with HubSpot or equivalent CRM.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of day-to-day workflow.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You must be comfortable with working in a remote-first environment.
