Paid Media Senior Manager (Entertainment)
Location
London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in-office)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Paid Media Senior Manager to lead the strategy and delivery of high-impact paid media campaigns for entertainment brands, spanning film, TV, streaming, live events, and cultural launches. This role combines hands-on channel expertise with strategic leadership, client partnership, and team development.
You’ll be a senior voice within the paid media team, shaping how campaigns are planned, activated, and measured in a fast-moving, culturally relevant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Media Planning
- Own paid media strategy across a portfolio of entertainment clients and major campaigns
- Lead media planning across paid social, paid search, video, display, and programmatic
- Translate audience insight, cultural context, and campaign objectives into integrated paid media plans
- Set channel strategy, KPIs, and success frameworks across awareness, consideration, and conversion objectives

Campaign Delivery & Optimisation
- Oversee campaign activation and optimisation, ensuring best-in-class execution
- Manage budgets, pacing, and forecasting across complex and time-sensitive campaigns
- Review performance regularly, identifying opportunities to improve reach, efficiency, and impact
- Lead post-campaign analysis, insights, and recommendations
Client & Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as the senior paid media lead for key clients, building trusted partnerships
- Present media strategies, performance updates, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders
- Support Account Directors in managing client expectations and campaign planning
- Contribute to new business pitches and strategic proposals
Team Leadership & Development
- Line manage and mentor Paid Media Managers and Executives
- Set standards for quality, innovation, and performance across the team
- Support training, knowledge sharing, and career development within paid media
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and analytics teams

Agency & Innovation Contribution
- Help shape paid media best practices, tools, and processes
- Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging ad formats, and industry trends
- Champion testing, innovation, and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Required
- 4+ years of paid media experience, ideally within an agency environment
- Strong hands-on expertise across paid social and paid search; experience with programmatic and video is a plus
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-channel campaigns
- Strong understanding of brand and performance measurement frameworks
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and campaign timelines
- Confident presenter with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven experience managing and developing team members
