Paid Media Specialist (Interim contract- temporary-perm)
Introduction
This is a hands-on delivery role focused on the day-to-day management, optimisation, and reporting of paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads. The successful candidate will join an experienced team, working across a portfolio of ecommerce brands to drive performance and identify growth opportunities.
The Role
As a Paid Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimising paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads, ensuring budgets are effectively utilised and performance targets are achieved.
Working closely with Account Managers and the wider Paid Media team, you will analyse campaign performance, implement testing strategies, and provide recommendations to improve results across a diverse portfolio of ecommerce clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns on a day-to-day basis.
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, and pacing against agreed objectives.
- Build, launch, and optimise paid search and paid social campaigns.
- Develop and implement testing strategies across audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
- Identify performance issues and proactively implement solutions.
- Conduct account audits and health checks to ensure best practices are maintained.
- Analyse campaign data to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth.
- Support client reporting and performance reviews with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and the wider Paid Media team.
- Maintain accurate campaign documentation and account records.
- Contribute ideas, learnings, and recommendations based on previous agency experience.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience managing Meta Ads campaigns.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce performance marketing.
- Experience independently managing campaign budgets, optimisation, and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous experience working within a digital marketing agency.

- Experience managing B2B lead generation campaigns.
- Experience with Microsoft Ads.
- Working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and conversion tracking.
- Experience with additional paid social platforms such as TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, or LinkedIn.
