The Role
As our digital offering continues to grow, we’re looking for a Paid Search Manager to help shape the next phase of our journey. The role involves:
- Taking ownership of the strategy, planning and delivery of paid search campaigns across a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Growing and developing our paid search offering.
- A hands-on role with opportunities to build and mentor a growing team, including recruitment, talent development, and establishing best practices.
- Connecting measurement, audience insights and media activation with analytics and AV specialists to deliver high-performing, integrated campaigns across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Management
- Own the paid search strategy across a portfolio of client accounts (planning, forecasting, execution, optimisation).
- Build, manage, and optimise campaigns across:
- Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen)
- Microsoft Ads (Bing)
- Amazon Ads
- Manage and optimise product feeds using feed-management platforms.
- Optimise budgets and bidding strategies to meet client KPIs, balancing efficiency with growth.
- Conduct:
- Keyword research
- Audience planning
- Ad copywriting
- Landing-page recommendations
- Use analytics and attribution tools to measure performance and inform decisions.
- Help optimise Meta (Facebook/Instagram) social campaigns.
- Audit paid search accounts and contribute to new business pitches.
- Stay updated on platform changes, automation and industry trends, sharing insights.

Team Building & Development
- Take ownership of growing the paid search team.
- Recruitment involvement—contribute to job specs, review candidates, and interview.
- Onboard, coach, and develop team members, building expertise and career progression.
- Help shape ways of working, processes and best-practice documentation.
Client & Commercial
- Be a senior point of contact for clients:
- Present strategy, performance, and recommendations.
- Build and nurture trusted client relationships.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow accounts.
- Contribute to new business pitches and proposals.
- Ensure accurate reporting, billing, and budget reconciliation across accounts.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in managing paid media campaigns.
- Advanced expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
- Intermediate expertise in Meta Ads Manager.
- Proven ability to activate, optimise, and scale high-performing campaigns.
- Strong experience with feed-management platforms (DataFeedWatch, Channable, or equivalents) for Shopping/PMax.
- Exceptional strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution.
- Analytical rigor—interpret data and provide commercial recommendations.
- Experience managing significant advertising budgets.
- Understanding of attribution, conversion tracking, GA4, and reporting.
- Experience in client pitches and new business proposals.
- outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience
An advantage would be experience with:
- Paid social (TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
- Amazon Ads.
- Programmatic advertising (DV360, The Trade Desk, StackAdapt).
- Multi-touch attribution and marketing-measurement platforms (Triple Whale, Northbeam).
- AI tools (e.g. Claude) for campaign analysis, ad copywriting, reporting.
- Looker Studio/Tableau.
- Google Tag Manager and advanced tracking.
Growth & Progression
This role offers real career advancement:
- Lead the paid search function, defining strategy, processes, best practice.
- Build a team from the ground up, progressing to Head of Paid Search or Head of Performance.
- Expand beyond paid search to include:
