At Algebra, we believe great paid social isn't just trusting the algorithm - it's about understanding why it behaves the way it does, and knowing when to push back on it. We want someone who can diagnose a performance problem from first principles, not just pull the levers the platform recommends.
We’re looking for a driven and curious Paid Social Consultant with around 4 years’ hands-on experience to join the team at Algebra.
We're a specialist performance marketing agency built around flexibility, expertise, and genuine partnership. We work differently from traditional agencies, offering clients deep channel knowledge and transparent collaboration, designed to drive meaningful performance. Our clients range from ambitious SMEs to global brands, and we support them in multiple ways: from fully managing performance marketing to consulting with established in-house teams looking to elevate their results. The work you’ll do will be varied, strategic, and genuinely impactful.
This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in our London office and 3 days working from home.
The Role
As a Paid Social Consultant, you’ll support the planning, execution, and optimisation of Paid Social campaigns across key platforms. You’ll work closely with senior team members while owning day-to-day delivery for your accounts. Responsibilities include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
