The Opportunity
This role is designed for someone who thrives in paid social performance but has found themselves increasingly drawn to the creative aspects of growth.
Perhaps you're currently a Paid Social Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Growth Marketer, or Media Buyer. You know that creative is often the biggest driver of performance, and you spend more time analysing high-performing ads, refining creative hypotheses, reviewing hooks, and guiding content direction—rather than merely managing campaigns.
Now, you’re seeking the opportunity to move closer to creative strategy and have a direct impact on what is made, tested, and scaled. That’s exactly what this role offers.
At Launch With Us, we’re building something different. Our mission revolves around helping ambitious brands grow from £1–2M to £5M, £10M, and beyond through a blend of world-class paid media and performance-driven creative. Collectively, we manage over £10M in annual media spend across Meta and TikTok, serving brands like Lucky Saint, Four Five, Fem Fuelz, Butter & Crust, and Aromatherapy Associates.

About the Role
We’re looking for a Paid Social Creative Strategist who recognises that creative often holds the key to performance success.
You’ll occupy the intersection of paid media, consumer psychology, and creative strategy, leveraging performance data, audience insights, and platform expertise to shape the creative direction for some of the UK’s fastest-growing consumer brands.
Instead of just managing campaigns, you’ll identify what content should be created, why it should work, how it should be tested, and what steps follow to improve performance. Collaborating with founders, media buyers, editors, creators, and account managers, you’ll build scalable creative systems that drive measurable growth.
This role is tailor-made for paid social experts eager to transition into a more strategic and creative role while retaining their performance-driven mindset.
Requirements
Strategic Leadership
- Own creative strategy across a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the senior strategic lead and trusted advisor.
- Define and lead creative testing frameworks, experimentation roadmaps, and strategic priorities aligned with client growth.
- Conduct quarterly strategic planning sessions and creative reviews with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate performance data, customer insights, and market intelligence into actionable creative strategies.
- Spot opportunities to unlock growth through new creative angles, messaging strategies, offers, and positioning.

Creative Development & Performance
- Lead performance-driven creative strategies for Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Analyse creative performance data to transform insights into clear recommendations, testing plans, and optimisation strategies.
- Oversee the ideation, scripting, briefing, and development of UGC, creator content, high-production campaigns, motion, and design assets.
- Develop scalable creative frameworks that improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
- Ensure all creative output aligns strategically, remains performance-led, and reflects client objectives.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and develop Creative Strategists, offering coaching, strategic guidance, and structured feedback.
- Lead editors, designers, creators, and production partners by providing clear creative direction and performance context.
- Review and elevate creative briefs before production to ensure strategic rigour and consistency.
- Raise the quality bar across all creative strategy output and champion best practices.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
Client & Commercial Leadership
- Build trusted relationships with founders, senior stakeholders, and client leadership teams.
- Present strategic recommendations, creative insights, and performance analysis with confidence.
- Partner with account managers to improve client retention, growth, and overall account performance.
- Proactively identify commercial opportunities that add value to clients and support agency growth.
- Maintain proactive communication, surfacing opportunities and risks early while guiding clients toward high-impact actions.
Innovation & Operational Excellence
- Stay ahead of platform trends, consumer behaviour shifts, competitive activity, and emerging formats.
- Champion AI, automation, and innovative creative workflows to enhance output quality and efficiency.
- Establish and refine internal creative processes, frameworks, and systems.
- Share learnings, performance insights, and best practices across the wider team.
- Drive continuous improvement in creative performance, testing velocity, and operational effectiveness.
Leadership Expectations
As the Senior Creative Strategist, you’ll:
- Raise the quality and strategic sophistication of creative output across the agency.
- Act as a mentor and role model for junior strategists.
- Influence cross-functional teams (media buying, account management, production, leadership).
- Champion experimentation, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Help shape the future direction of Launch With Us’ creative offering.

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have
- 5+ years’ experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social, or a related field.
- Proven track record in leading creative strategy for multiple high-growth brands.
- Deep experience in developing high-performing creative for Meta, TikTok, and other performance channels.
- Mentorship/management experience with strategists, editors, designers, or creative teams.
- Exceptional analytical skills— ability to link creative decisions to performance outcomes.
- Strong commercial awareness, understanding what drives profitable growth for DTC and e-commerce brands.
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience presenting strategic recommendations to founders, leadership, and decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of consumer psychology, behaviour triggers, and conversion principles.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a desire for continuous improvement.
