An average day as a Bodyshop Paint Technician …
- You will have the ability to carry out all paint spraying work efficiently, on a full range of vehicles.
- Ensure the correct preparation is carried out for each vehicle, following process to use the correct paint for each job.
- Ensure that all equipment used is well maintained and cleaned, including storing paints in the correct conditions.
- Managing inventory of various paints and equipment.
- Communicate with colleagues and work effectively as a team.
- Manage your workload to ensure you can complete each vehicle efficiently to match customer demand.
About You…
- Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer/ Vehicle Painter is essential.
- You will have a wide knowledge of paints, including knowledge of using water-based paints and mixing paint to ensure a perfect match.
- Time served and/or qualified to city & guilds or NVQ level 2
- You will have strong time management and organisational skills.
- ATA is advantageous but not essential.
- You will have a working knowledge of Health & Safety responsibilities.
