Painter & Decorator
Location: Multiple school sites across Manchester
Rate: £19 - £20 per hour
Duration: 6 weeks
Contract Type: Temporary
We're looking for experienced Painters & Decorators to support a programme of works across multiple school sites throughout the Wirral.
This is a great opportunity for reliable tradespeople looking for consistent work over the summer period, carrying out a mix of internal and external painting and decorating within well-maintained educational settings.

You'll be joining a professional maintenance team, delivering clean, high-quality finishes across school buildings.
The Role
You Will Be Carrying Out
- Internal emulsion works to walls and ceilings
- External painting, including masonry and woodwork
- Surface preparation, including sanding, filling and priming
- General painting and decorating works across school premises
- Maintaining safe working practices on active school sites
- Completing works to a high standard and within agreed timescales
What We're Looking For
- Valid CSCS Card, essential
- IPAF, preferred but not essential
- Previous painting and decorating experience
- Experience working in schools, public sector buildings or similar environments would be beneficial
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your finish
