Roles & Responsabilities
Undertake General painting and decorating maintenance and refurbishment in all areas of the hotel. Undertake general maintenance and refurbishment work using trade skills including plastering repair work. Undertake a range of internal/ external painting and redecoration tasks. Undertake preparation work using hand-held power tools including scraping, sanding and filling. Undertake silicone replacement or new silicone application jobs Undertake preparation to surfaces in readiness for application of decorative product Mix and thin paint to obtain desired colour and texture as necessary Apply paint or other material such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fibreglass, wood, metal coating or fire retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment, following manufacture's recommendations Comply with all company and other health & safety requirement at all times Stock Management of all painting and decorating tools and material (this might include going to the paint shop to purchase the items at times) French Polishing duties upon receiving of training from the external company or by way of attending French polishing course provided by the company Comply with all company policies and procedures Other ad hoc general maintenance duties in support of the Engineering team
