About VIVO

- Open
- Caring

- Collaborative
We combine experience and innovation to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality service.
What This Role Entails
You’ll be a Painter, responsible for maintaining, refreshing, and enhancing military living accommodation—from Single Living Accommodation (SLA) dormitories to Military Family Housing (MFH).
This is a hands-on, independent, role with clear opportunities for progression and impact. You’ll frequently manage entire empty properties, transforming them to a high standard ahead of new occupancy—all while balancing productivity and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end painting and decoration services, both internal and external.
- Prepare surfaces, repair defects, remove old paint, and apply high-quality finishes to meet VIVO and client standards.
- Achieve tight turnaround times without compromising on craftsmanship.
- Conduct inspections and complete snagging works where needed.
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and ready for occupation.
- Occasionally work with access equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Work professionally in a client-facing capacity, communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and our partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
