Painter/Decorator
Painter & Decorator
We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team.
In this role, you will carry out painting and decorating works across construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- A strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements & Duties
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming prior to decoration
- Applying paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
- Carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works
- Repairing minor surface defects before decorating
- Protecting surrounding areas and ensuring work areas are left clean and tidy
- Working from drawings, specifications, and instructions provided by the site team
- Maintaining painting tools and equipment in good working order
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Reporting any defects or additional works required to the site management team

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:
- Valid CSCS Card (required)
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Own painting tools and equipment (where required)
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
