Position Overview
The Painting and Insulation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all painting and insulation activities on the NZT Power project. This role involves supervising subcontractors and internal teams to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. The supervisor will facilitate smooth communication between internal construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and company representatives to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Coordination:
- Report directly to the Site / Construction Manager.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of subcontractors and internal supervisors involved in painting and insulation works.
- Ensure all operations under your control adhere to company policies, national, and international health, safety, and environmental legislation, aligning with the HSE plan.

Contractor & Resource Management:
- Monitor subcontractors’ performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure timely mobilization and deployment of resources in line with the construction schedule.
- Verify the suitability, training, and competence of personnel involved in painting and insulation activities.

Material & Equipment Oversight:
- Oversee the availability and proper storage of materials and equipment to support construction planning and targets.
- Ensure materials comply with project specifications and are delivered on time.

Safety & Environmental Compliance:
- Promote and enforce safety and environmental procedures on-site.
- Conduct daily job safety analyses (JSAs) for all activities.
- Ensure all operations are performed with environmental considerations in mind.

Coordination & Communication:
- Facilitate effective safety and environmental coordination between contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Liaise with field staff on construction engineering matters related to painting and insulation.

Operational Activities:
- Oversee the running of coating crews, repair crews, and holiday detection crews.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in supervising painting and insulation works on large-scale industrial or power projects.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and teams efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction engineering principles related to painting and insulation.
