We're seeking a skilled Data / Palantir Engineer to join a growing Defence & National Security team delivering mission-critical data solutions across high-profile government programmes. This is an opportunity to work with Palantir Foundry and Gotham, designing and delivering scalable data platforms that turn complex, disparate data into trusted operational insight. You'll work alongside engineers, architects, data specialists and clients to solve challenging problems in secure, fast-paced environments.

What You'll Do
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines within Palantir Foundry
- Integrate structured, unstructured, batch, streaming and real-time data sources
- Develop robust ETL processes and automated workflows to support analytics, AI and operational decision-making
- Build logical and physical data models, ontologies and governance frameworks
- Create user-facing applications and information products using Palantir's low-code and pro-code capabilities
- Design end-to-end data solutions aligned to client requirements and mission outcomes

Experience
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and/or Gotham
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience building and optimising ETL pipelines and automated data workflows
- Proven data engineering expertise across complex data environments
- Experience designing data models, ontologies and scalable data architectures
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage and data quality principles
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including:
- SDLC
- Git/version control
