Pallet Network Planner

Pallet Network Planner – Telford

Full-Time (52.5 hrs/week) – PM Shift

About the Role Join Kinaxia’s team in Telford as a Pallet Network Planner, where you will optimise collection and delivery schedules to meet cost-efficiency targets while ensuring seamless customer service alignment and compliance with industry legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute schedules using Transport Management Systems (TMS) to maximise resource utilisation, improving efficiency for both the department and business.
  • Collaborate with drivers to boost productivity and maintain high customer service levels.
  • Manage staffing (including agency workers) to ensure operational demands are met, including daily planning and customer assignments.
  • Develop effective internal/external communications with departments and clients to enhance KPIs and profitability.
  • Ensure data accuracy and GDPR compliance through secure information handling.
  • Control operational deliveries for the next day, including quote processing and booking management to line up with customer expectations.
  • Operate under health & safety regulations, adhering to high standards of housekeeping and passing internal/external audits.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Logistics qualification (desirable)
  • CPC/equivalent professional accreditation
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Highway Code
    • EU tachograph rules
    • Working Time Regulations
    • Road Transport Regulations
  • Commercial awareness and familiarity with transport operations systems
  • Understanding of geography/routability
  • Strong grasp of health and safety compliance
