Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Privileged Access Management (PAM) Subject Matter Expert who can combine hands-on technical expertise with strong stakeholder management, solution design, and project delivery skills. The successful candidate will act as the technical authority for PAM while working closely with business stakeholders, security teams, architects, and third-party vendors to deliver secure privileged access solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise PAM solutions.
  • Onboard privileged, shared, service, and application accounts.
  • Configure password vaulting, session management, credential rotation, and Just-in-Time (JIT) access.
  • Integrate PAM with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, LDAP, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, provisioning, and privileged access issues.
  • Support platform upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Functional / Non-Technical

  • Gather and translate business requirements into PAM solutions.
  • Advise stakeholders on PAM best practices and privileged access governance.
  • Lead workshops with business, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
  • Coordinate onboarding of applications and privileged accounts.
  • Manage vendors, third parties, and implementation partners.
  • Support audit, risk, and compliance activities.
  • Produce project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and executive updates.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
  • Drive continuous service improvement and operational maturity.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more PAM platforms such as:
    • CyberArk
    • Delinea Secret Server
    • BeyondTrust Privileged Remote Access
    • One Identity Safeguard
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms, and directory services.
  • Strong understanding of PAM architecture, least privilege, Zero Trust, and privileged identity governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering PAM projects in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is desirable.
