Role Description

The Pan London Communications Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for developing and delivering a cohesive communications strategy across multiple services in London, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with Change Grow Live’s values and objectives.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Planning and producing written content
  • Drafting and coordinating press releases
  • Managing internal communications to engage and inform staff
  • Overseeing strategic communications campaigns that support service delivery and stakeholder engagement

The role also involves:

  • Liaising with media and partners
  • Monitoring the impact of communications activities
  • Advising local teams on best practice to strengthen the charity’s profile and reach

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to adapt messages for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Strategic Communications and Internal Communications to plan and deliver cohesive campaigns across services.
  • Solid Writing skills for a range of formats, including reports, briefings, and public-facing materials.
  • Experience creating and managing Press Releases, including media liaison and reputation management.
  • Ideally, experience in health, social care, or charity sectors, and be comfortable working with sensitive topics.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A relevant qualification in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is beneficial.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and an understanding of trauma-informed and person-centered approaches.
