Vertu Accident Repair Centre Beaconsfield

We have an excellent opportunity for a Panel Beater / MET Technician to join us at Vertu Accident Repair Centre Beaconsfield! The successful candidate will benefit from working in a bodyshop with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest repair technology.

This is a full-time permanent role offering a competitive basic salary of £41,990 OTE £50,000 plus company benefits.

As a Panel Beater / MET Technician, you will be an experienced and qualified technician with the ability to carry out both high-quality panel repairs and MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) duties. You will possess all relevant qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ) and have proven experience dismantling and reassembling vehicles, ensuring all repairs are completed safely and to manufacturer standards.

Ideally, you will have experience repairing all makes of vehicles, be proficient and accurate in your work, and have the ability to work efficiently within time constraints and deadlines. You will be able to interpret technical instructions and repair estimates, possess a working knowledge of jig machinery, and be confident carrying out both panel and MET repairs as part of the vehicle repair process.

All you require to become part of the Vertu team are:

  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Proven experience carrying out panel repairs
  • Previous MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) experience is essential
  • Ability to remove and refit vehicle components to manufacturer standards
  • Able to carry out quality control checks effectively
  • A full UK Driving Licence
