Panel Wirer

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a well-established and innovative engineering manufacturer based in Wallsend. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing temporary position with a respected business offering competitive pay and an excellent working environment. This role will require you to work night shifts as well in the long term so you must be flexible to work both shifts.
What's on Offer -
- £20.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 25 days' holiday, increasing with service
- Ongoing long term assignment
- Opportunity to work with a leading engineering manufacturer
Key Responsibilities -
- Read and interpret engineering and electrical drawings
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and pump systems
- Install and fit electrical components
- Carry out panel wiring to a high standard
- Use a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with quality standards

About You -
To be successful in this role, you'll have -
- Previous experience in panel wiring, panel building or electrical manufacturing
- The ability to confidently read and work from electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
