Production Operator – Huhtamaki

About the Role

  • Play a crucial role in our operations, helping optimise production, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain equipment to the relevant specifications.
  • Monitor product quality, ensuring compliance with standards and maximising machine outputs.
  • Communicate effectively with shift leaders, reporting production status and highlighting any issues promptly.
  • Conduct fault finding and perform repairs or adjustments within your capabilities, including health checks on machinery.
  • Escalate to Engineering when faults cannot be resolved in-house.
  • Perform first-off quality checks, making necessary adjustments to support consistent production.
  • Minimise material wastage through efficient machine operation.
  • Conduct clear and effective shift handovers to ensure seamless workflows.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace, adhering to Huhtamaki’s standards.
  • Work as a collaborative team member, contributing to a Culture of shared responsibility and progress.
