Aberdein Considine is seeking a proactive and organised Paralegal to join our growing team in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Role
As a Paralegal, you will provide legal and administrative support to lawyers and senior team members, helping to ensure cases and transactions are progressed efficiently, accurately and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality legal services through case management, legal documentation, client communication and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing and progressing a varied caseload under appropriate supervision
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and case-related documents
- Supporting the full matter lifecycle, from file opening through to closure
- Liaising professionally with clients, courts and third parties
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation
- Excellent case management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Contributing positively to team performance, good customer outcomes and client outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working within a legal environment and/or studying towards a legal qualification or law degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and client expectations

- Experience acting for mortgage lenders, banks, building societies or institutional clients.
- Experience using legal case management systems
- Registered Paralegal qualification or other legal services qualification
