About Legal for Lettings

Legal for Lettings is a law firm dedicated to providing straightforward, fuss-free, and competitively priced legal services to landlords and their letting agents. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Barbon Insurance Group, the UK’s largest tenant referencing provider in the private rented sector, and a member of the fast-growing international insurance group PIB Group, our team of experienced legal professionals specialize in resolving disputes between landlords and tenants, and in providing innovative and affordable legal services.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive a market-leading service with the customer at the heart of everything you do. Your duties will include helping landlords and their letting agents obtain possession of their rental properties and recover any money outstanding from their tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and serve possession notices on tenants renting in England and Wales.
  • Draft claim forms and particulars of claim for possession and debt matters, and send them to court for issue.
  • Prepare bundles for court hearings, liaising with your client and the agent to ensure they have everything they need.
  • Support Senior Paralegals with the handling of defended litigation, by liaising with clients and their policyholders regarding the prospects of success in a case, or the risks associated with it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
