Job Description

At Westcoast, we take pride in distributing some of the most renowned global IT brands to resellers, retailers, and organizations across the UK and beyond. As an innovative and inclusive company, we thrive on teamwork and the diverse talents of our people. We invite you to turn your passion into a rewarding career with us!

The Job Role

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on, practical-minded, and commercially focused Paralegal to join our busy in-house legal team covering UK and Ireland within a fast-paced IT distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree or 12+ months proven experience in-house working on commercial contracts. You will support the Head of Legal (who also acts as Local Compliance Officer and Company Secretary) and Senior and Junior Legal Counsel across a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters, helping to manage risk and enable growth across our vendor, reseller, and customer relationships.

This is a full-time role based in our main Theale office (near M4 Junction 12), with onsite parking and nearby public transport links.

We will shortlist and screen candidates during the week of 25th May 2026, with final interviews scheduled for 3rd and 4th June 2026.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support to the legal team.
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and amending legal documents, including commercial contracts, and legal correspondence, using templates and precedents.
  • Support contract management processes, including coordinating signatures, tracking contract status, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct legal research on specific topics to support the legal team, including the use of AI-enabled legal research and document review tools.
  • Support company secretarial tasks, including preparation of board minutes, maintaining statutory records, and online filings with Companies House.
  • Support the Local Compliance Officer with governance and compliance initiatives by helping to maintain policies, procedures, and internal guidance materials.
  • Provide administrative and legal assistance on wider corporate and strategic initiatives, as directed by the Head of Legal.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
