Summary

Gibson Dunn is a leading global law firm, advising clients on significant transactions and disputes. Based in London, the Paralegal will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to the Litigation team, in particular assisting with a matter progressing through the Employment Tribunal, culminating in a 6 week trial late in 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of the matter.
  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day case management.
  • Coordinate and assist with preparation of filings and bundles.
  • Conduct legal and factual due diligence.
  • Maintain claims register of multiple claimants and case tracker.
  • Assist with the preparation and upkeep of trial bundles.
  • Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, internal teams and external advisers and vendors.
  • Provide in-person support to the team during a 6-week trial based in Manchester during November/December 2026.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Litigation team members on an ad hoc basis.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to multitask while balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and client matters.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including working overtime as needed.

Experience

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Relevant experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant within a Litigation team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Familiar with Relativity and third party e-bundle platforms.
