Role Description

The Paralegal at GigaLegal will support solicitors with case management, including preparing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents and case files. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Conducting legal and factual research
  • Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Drafting correspondence and basic legal documents
  • Assisting in the preparation of court bundles and reports
  • Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner
  • Scheduling meetings and hearings
  • Updating case management systems

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Greater London, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law, with knowledge of key legal principles and procedures relevant to London and UK practice.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Document Review, including drafting, formatting, and quality-checking legal documents and case files.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, solicitors, courts, and colleagues in writing and in person.
  • Solid Research skills, including legal and factual research using online databases, public records, and other resources.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and competence in using legal case management and office software.
  • Relevant paralegal qualification, law degree, or equivalent legal training; prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid workplace, maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
