Job Title: Paralegal – African Jurisdiction Experience
Duration: Initial 3-month contract (with potential extension)
Our customer, a global technology company, is looking for an experienced Paralegal with demonstrated experience supporting legal matters across African jurisdictions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing legal team, providing support on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the legal team on matters relating to multiple African jurisdictions.
- Conduct legal research on local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements across the region.
- Assist with the drafting, review, and management of a variety of legal documents and agreements.
- Support legal and regulatory projects, including tracking deliverables and maintaining legal documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel across different jurisdictions.
- Organise and maintain legal records, templates, and matter management systems.
- Assist with ad hoc legal and administrative tasks as required.

Key Requirements
- Demonstrated paralegal experience supporting legal matters across one or more African jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of legal systems and regulatory frameworks within African markets.
- Experience conducting legal research and analysing legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent drafting, organisational, and document management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
