About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal to support a U.S.-based immigration law practice. This is a remote role, ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional based in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of legal support experience, be fluent in English, tech-savvy, and capable of handling day-to-day immigration law administrative tasks independently.
Timezone: US Timezone (EST)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote support for immigration matters (form preparation, filings, calendaring, case tracking, client follow-ups)
- Draft, edit, and organize immigration petitions, motions, and supporting documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for immigration cases
- Maintain case management systems (e.g., MyCase, Docketwise, or similar platforms)
- Manage communication with clients, USCIS, courts, and third parties
- Assist with scheduling, deadlines, and general administrative tasks

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
- Strong English fluency (written and spoken)
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and use legal software
- Familiarity with MyCase and Docketwise is a plus, but not mandatory
- Experience in immigration law preferred; U.S. immigration law experience is a strong advantage and will be compensated accordingly
- Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail
