The firm consists of seasoned legal professionals with extensive expertise who work closely with clients as trusted partners to navigate the legal landscape successfully. They are dedicated to achieving success on behalf of their clients through innovative strategies and continuous learning.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal position based in the Liverpool area within the Car Finance/PCP Team. The role involves providing comprehensive legal and administrative support, including the supervised preparation of legal documentation, reviewing case materials and maintaining clear and professional communication with clients and colleagues.
Daily Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining case files from inception to conclusion
- Opening and closing files in accordance with firm procedures
- Responding to client enquiries
- Handling incoming calls
- Processing correspondence
- Ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded and filed in line with regulatory and internal compliance requirements

Day to Day Role
- Answering and making calls and managing the helpdesk
- Reviewing and answering emails and managing the enquiries inbox
- Reviewing and dealing with post
- General administrative duties
- Conducting file audits and file reviews
- Making DSARs and reviewing replies
- Making and assessing offers under supervision
- Reviewing and drafting claims for issuing court proceedings under supervision
- Assisting in all stages of post-litigation proceedings

- Client Management: Full engagement with clients including face to face, via phone (audio and visual/teams) and email
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conducting research and providing analysis and summaries/action plans for review
- Drafting Documents: Preparing various legal documents and court applications for review
- Case Management: Maintaining client files, recording information, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Software Proficiency: Using firm-specific case management systems such as a Claims Management System and Proclaim. Proficiency in general IT including Microsoft Office/Outlook
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communications
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively including high volume of cases and tasks, maintain organised case files, handle documentation efficiently and have an exceptional attention to detail
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others and provide support to senior fee-earners/solicitors
- Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legal procedures, legislation, case law and schemes with a willingness to learn and develop skills is desirable but is not a necessity
