Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Paralegal to join our Corporate French Inward Investments Team based in London.

About the Role

French companies looking to set up or market their products or services in the UK can face issues due to a lack of familiarity with the English legal system. Our French group comprises of French nationals who specialise in Franco-British business transactions, advising and assisting French companies and entrepreneurs investing in the UK.

In this role, you’ll develop your understanding of English business law to support our French client base on matters involving various areas of English business law. Your fluency in French (written and verbal) will be complemented by your extensive knowledge of the French culture and, ideally, some French legal background so as to better understand our French corporate clients’ requirements. There will also be the opportunity to attend French networking events alongside other members of the core French Group and, on occasion, you may have the opportunity to travel to France (approx. 1-2 times per year).

What Does the Role Involve?

  • Advising mainly French clients on English business law, working with specialist teams as needed
  • Undertaking legal research and advising on new statutes and regulations
  • Participating in marketing activities, including seminars and pitches
  • Attending Franco-British Business / International Trade networking events in London and elsewhere
  • Supporting exceptional client service for our French-speaking clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and intermediaries
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
