Paralegal - Healthcare Regulatory
Paralegal – Health Care and Public Law (London)
Department: Health Care and Public Law Location: London
DAC Beachcroft has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join its market-leading Health Care and Public Law Team in London, supporting lawyers who advise healthcare providers and commissioners on complex regulatory and advisory matters.
This role is ideal for an organised and motivated individual with a genuine interest in healthcare and regulatory law, willing to develop their skills in a collaborative and supportive team. Previous paralegal experience is welcomed but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
As a key member of the Healthcare Regulatory team, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily liaison with clients, courts, coroners’ offices, and counsel
- Assisting with disclosure in legal proceedings
- Note-taking during meetings and court hearings
- Supporting the day-to-day management of client files, ensuring efficient case progression
- Arranging meetings and coordination discussions
- Drafting routine correspondence, creating template court forms, and preparing statements
- Supporting client management information requirements
- Accurate time recording and billing support
- Preparing court bundles
- Assisting with legal research under supervision
- Contributing to knowledge management, training materials, and business development initiatives

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong organisational skills, with an exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a willingness to learn
- Ability to efficiently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office proficiency)
- Interest in medical law, regulation, and inquests
Advantageous (but not required):
- Previous paralegal or legal/professional services experience
- A law degree (or equivalent)
