Wrexham AFC is delighted to offer paid internships for the 2026 / 27 season. These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us. This placement is subject to an enhanced DBS check (with Children’s Barred list).

What You’ll Be Doing
Our Work Placement programme is designed to offer participants hands-on experience of working in-house in a football club. You will gain a real-life insight into the life of a paralegal working in the sports sector across a variety of practice areas. Examples of the type of work you will be doing:

- Drafting: contracts, correspondence, and presentations.
- Shadowing: meetings and calls.
- Research: into legal queries raised by various departments.
What We Are Looking For
Undergraduate / SQE students who are passionate about pursuing a career in sports law. Skills that would be useful for the role:
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- A keen interest in a particular area of law
In-house Legal Departments Cover a Broad Range Of Work. It Would Therefore Be Useful If You Had Experience In One Or More Of The Following Areas Of Law:
- Commercial
- Sports
- Data protection
- Corporate
This internship provides a unique opportunity to work within a club that has captured global attention while remaining deeply connected to its community. Interns will gain hands-on experience, support key projects, and contribute to the continued growth and storytelling of Wrexham AFC.
