A top US law firm with a strong international presence and arguably the best Private Equity team in the UK has an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join their Corporate PE team.
The Team
The team is made up of four partners who are all highly ranked, a small number of associates and three paralegals. The team highly value the paralegals, so much so you will be named on deals and have a high level of client contact.
The Role
You will have a high level of responsibility and manage with limited supervision the private equity portfolio. This requires exceptional administration, organisation and attention to detail skills and someone who really enjoys client contact.

- Preparing and proofreading documents
- Distributing document packs to clients
- Answering queries and sending follow up documentation to clients
- Preparing share capital tables, group structure carts, company information tables, and checklists etc related to each portfolio company
- Managing transaction bibles
- Performing searches on Companies House and drafting and filing forms
- Drafting ancillary documents such as board minutes, director resignation letter and stock transfer forms
The Requirements
Corporate paralegal experience is essential and it is anticipated that at least 12 months is needed to be able to hit the ground running. As this is a unique role, they will provide full training on the portfolio management side. As this paralegal role is client facing strong written and verbal communication skills are key.

Spanish language skills would also be highly desirable.
