Paralegal Opportunity – General Litigation Team

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our friendly general Litigation team in our Thame office. The role is based in our Thame, Oxfordshire office.

This position offers comprehensive administrative and legal support to the fee-earning team, assisting with case management and client interactions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain electronic case files, ensuring they remain organised, actioning workflow entries, and processing client instructions.
  • Assist fee earners in handling their caseload under their guidance.
  • Review Land Registry Office Copies.
  • Prepare routine legal documents using case management system templates.
  • Issue court proceedings, obtain court orders, and execute enforcement actions.
  • Prepare, file, and serve court bundles.
  • Support fee earners in invoicing and ensuring accurate fee accounting.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of legal files.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • At least 1 year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak professionally with clients.
    • Exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Must be eager to embrace teamwork and take ownership of tasks.
