Paralegal - Local Government

Paralegal - Local Government (Residential Transactions) – 6-12-month FTC (Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Description

Are you a detail-driven Paralegal ready to support high-volume legal work?

You will support solicitors delivering high-quality client work within our Birmingham Local Government Team. This is a 6-12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) focused on fast-paced residential transactions with hybrid working available (2-3 days in the office). Join a busy team handling significant new work and monthly transaction volumes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Imputing data into standard agreements
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties via email and telephone
  • Engrossing documents and managing completion arrangements
  • Drafting SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns
  • Making applications to the HMLR (Her Majesty’s Land Registry) and responding to requisitions
