Paralegal – Private Equity Investment Firm (Temporary Contract)

Location: London (Office-based)
Duration: 4–6 weeks
Start Date: August 2026
Salary: Competitive

Accuflex is currently recruiting on behalf of a London-based private equity investment management firm for a temporary Paralegal to support the General Counsel on a time-critical legal project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with experience in private equity, investment funds, asset management, or banking and finance to gain exposure within a highly regarded investment management business.

The Role

Working closely with the General Counsel, you will assist with the implementation of a significant legal project involving the preparation, coordination, and execution of legal documentation.

Responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Coordinating legal documentation and document packs.
  • Managing the execution process and maintaining completion trackers.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Reviewing completed documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Supporting the General Counsel with the successful delivery of the project.
  • Assisting with general legal and administrative tasks as required.

About You

We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous exposure to private funds, fund structures, carried interest arrangements, and Limited Partnership Agreements is essential. Candidates do not need extensive experience in these areas but should have a sound understanding of the fundamentals.
  • Experience within private equity, private funds, or investment management would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Additional Information

  • Full-time position.
  • Office-based in London, working closely with a small in-house legal team.
  • Initial contract of approximately 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.
