An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our thriving and busy Private Client Department
We are a well-established high street firm looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to develop their career in private client work.
The Role
The correct candidate will provide comprehensive support to our fee earners and assist with a wide range of matters, including:
- drafting wills and related documents
- preparing and submitting LPA’s and Probate applications both online and manually
- estate administration and estate planning
- liaising with clients, beneficiaries, government departments and other agencies
- taking telephone enquiries and booking appointments
- managing files and case progression to ensure matters are dealt with efficiently
- following up enquiries with various organisations and agencies
- providing general administrative assistance and legal support across all aspects of private client work

About the Candidate

- A quick and eager learner with a positive and proactive attitude
- Enthusiastic about client care and relations
- Organised and able to work as part of a busy team
- Comfortable dealing with clients directly face to face or by telephone, email or letter
- Professional and empathetic
- Capable of managing competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in audio/digital dictation (preferred but not essential)
- Interested in pursuing a long-term career within the Private Client arena
