Partners Group – Investment Legal Paralegal, AI & Tech Enablement
About the Role
Partners Group’s Investment Legal team is a global group of senior lawyers providing best-in-class legal advice across every asset class and investment lifecycle. They work closely with senior management, internal teams, and external counsel, blending legal expertise with a business-minded approach.
This is not a traditional paralegal role. We’re looking for a passionate, tech-savvy legal professional who thrives at the intersection of law, technology, and business, eager to help shape the future of investment legal operations in a leading global private markets firm.
Location: Denver, London, or Zug (Switzerland).
The Dual Role

Traditional Paralegal Support
- Provide high-quality legal, operational, and administrative support across the investment lifecycle, including:
- Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Private Credit.
- Liaison with external counsel, service providers, and internal teams to ensure compliance with legal processes.
- Legal knowledge management, including internal processes and procedures.
- Cross-functional collaboration with operations, asset management, and client teams to address legal and transactional needs.
- Management of regulatory documentation, service providers, and compliance tracking.
- Provide high-quality legal, operational, and administrative support across the investment lifecycle, including:

AI & Tech Enablement
- Critically assess Investment Legal’s workflows and operational efficiency, designing and implementing AI-driven solutions:
- Legal AI use cases (contract review, knowledge management, obligation tracking, drafting, summarization, and due diligence support).
- Development of bespoke AI agents and automated workflows tailored to the team’s needs.
- Change enablement—leading team training and adoption of new tools.
- Collaboration with internal tech, data, and innovation teams to evaluate and deploy practical solutions.
- Impact tracking and continuous improvement of the enablement strategy.
- Critically assess Investment Legal’s workflows and operational efficiency, designing and implementing AI-driven solutions:

Key Responsibilities
Traditional Paralegal Support
- Assist on investment obligations and portfolio company activities.
- Coordinate with external counsel, lawyers, and stakeholders on complex matters.
- Obligation tracking, documentation, and compliance management.
- Ad hoc legal, regulatory, and corporate transactional projects.
AI & Technology Adaptation & Innovation
- Research and identify AI tools tailored to legal operations.
- Develop and pilot AI-driven workflows (e.g., contract analysis, document drafting).
- Train and enable the team on new technology and process improvements.
- Measure outcomes and refine technological solutions.
What We Expect
Paralegal & Professional Skills
- Has paralegal, legal tech, or related professional experience (legal operations, corporates).
- Specialises in managing multiple high-priority tasks, meeting deadlines with precision.
- Demonstrates clear, professional communication with cross-functional colleagues, clients, and senior leaders.
- Has strong attention to detail, document/case management, and a high standard of confidentiality.
- Quick decision-making in managing legal, regulatory, and operational risks.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, global environment with ownership and accountability.

Tech & AI Skills
- Hands-on experience with legal tech (contract lifecycle management, document automation) or strong interest in legal AI, including:
- Generative AI assistants
- Agentic workflows
- Low-code/no-code platforms
- Ability to translate operational inefficiencies into structured use cases.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and iterating tech solutions.
- Preferably contributed to team training, change management, or tech enablement initiatives before.
