Experienced Paralegal – Residential Real Estate (London & Cambridge)

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Residential Real Estate team, based in our London and Cambridge offices.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to play an integral role in managing smaller transactions and client relationships while supporting the delivery of larger deals. The team operates under the Real Estate National Service Line (NSL), led by Vincenzo Maggio, with guidance from professional support lawyers.


Key Areas of Work

  • High-value freehold and leasehold sales and purchases of residential properties across England and Wales, including:
    • Prime central London apartments
    • Country houses
    • Luxury new builds
  • Supporting Private Wealth colleagues on trust and estate structures involving residential property, including asset transfers from matrimonial proceedings
  • Implementing university and Oxbridge college housing schemes

Client Base

The role will involve working with:

  • High-net-worth individuals (UK & international)
  • Family office trusts
  • Trustees and offshore structures
  • Universities and Oxbridge colleges

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant residential and high-net-worth property experience
  • A law degree or equivalent, or a strong understanding of core legal principles
  • Excellent written English, with a clear, logical drafting style
  • A high-quality client service focus, including discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse, high-net-worth clients
  • Strong organisational skills, with effective time management and a proactive approach to matter handling
  • Proficiency in legal technology and document management systems
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
