Paralegal, Debt Recovery and Commercial Law
In House Legal Team, Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, Tritility
Location: Jarrow, Tyne and Wear
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm
Salary: Competitive

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join our internal legal team and develop their legal career with us.
About The Role
This is a great opportunity for a motivated Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Law Graduate who wants to build practical legal experience within a commercial business environment.
You will support Tritility’s internal legal team, with a particular focus on credit control, money claims and debt recovery. You will also support on a wider range of commercial legal matters, including supplier contracts, terms and conditions, data protection, customer complaints, dispute resolution and general legal advice.
The role will also give you the opportunity to diversify into different areas of legal work across the business, including working closely with external solicitors where needed.

What You Will Be Doing
- Credit control and debt recovery matters
- Money claims and dispute resolution
- Supplier contracts and commercial agreements
- Terms and conditions
- Data protection matters
- Customer complaints
- Commercial legal administration
- General legal advice and legal research
- Working with external solicitors where required
- Building strong working relationships across the business
What We Are Looking For
It is essential that you have at least a 2:1 in Law or an equivalent degree.
This role would suit someone who is currently working as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or who is a recent Law Graduate looking for their first or next legal role.
Experience Working In An Internal Legal Team Would Be Helpful, But It Is Not Essential. We Would Also Welcome Applications From Candidates With Experience Or a Strong Interest In
