Our Legal Services Team
Our Legal Services team is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to play a pivotal role in our continued success. This role is full time.
Corporate Legal experience is essential for this role. Please only apply if you have proven, hands-on experience within a legal services environment, specifically involving Corporate matters. We are looking for a minimum of 6 - 12 months Corporate Legal hands on experience.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be comfortable managing their own workload, working accurately under pressure, and delivering high-quality service to clients. You will have a thorough understanding of relevant legal processes, documentation, and compliance requirements, and be confident liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals to progress matters efficiently. Experience in managing data rooms would be desirable.

This role demands excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines. A proactive, client-focused approach is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working as part of a team, you will provide client work to your direct line manager within specified deadlines and in a format that is compliant with Duncan & Toplis Legal Services practice standards.
- Ensuring an acute awareness of your workload, including upcoming deadlines, and completing all required work within the parameters specified by your line manager.
- Knowing your abilities and when to ask for help from peers or your direct line manager.
- Ensuring that work is completed within the specified budget(s).
- Drafting correspondence and Legal documents.
- Build and maintain Legal knowledge.
- Developing working relationships with clients to assist in obtaining relevant information, maximise yield and performance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
We’re looking for someone with:
- 6 - 12 months or more equivalent experience.
- Ability to draft documentation accurately with attention to detail.
- Must be a good communicator and able to demonstrate effective client inter-personal skills.
- Must be able to actively manage own workloads and take responsibility for own development.
- Law graduate or qualified by experience.
- Need to work out of our Grantham office, minimum of every Wednesday.
Please note: we are not looking to sponsor for this role. You must have full right to work in the UK (indefinite leave to remain). We will also consider supporting the SQE qualification in the future.
