About The Role
Paralegal/ Litigation Executive / Solicitor - Personal Injury Motor - Leeds
Our Motor team are growing, and we are seeking experienced Litigation Executives/Solicitors to join at our Leeds office to support our amazing growth journey!
What will you be doing?
This is a great opportunity for a Litigation Executive who is looking to build upon their experience, as you will be running a litigated caseload of small claims matters dealing with liability and vehicle damage claims.
- You will assist other Litigation Executive/Claims Handlers as and when required with an average case load of 100 files, so having previous litigation experience dealing with claim handling a litigated caseload preferable a defendant case load is highly desired.
Some of the responsibilities you will be required to carry out are:
- Drafting documents, applications, offers, orders, and directions
- Attending telephone conferences
- Managing cases in line with SLAs
- Reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages
- Formalising case plans
- Entering into telephone negotiations
- Liaising with third party solicitors and insurers, own insurer clients, and lay clients

What do I need?
The ideal candidate would have experience in handling litigated claims, preferably with a focus on defendant cases. Familiarity with the CPR and the SRA Code of Conduct, along with their practical application and knowledge of motor insurance would be a huge plus.
