Paraplanner with Clear Pathway to Financial Adviser
£55K – £60K Base + bonus and benefits + full training & support Location: London
Our client is a highly respected, prestigious wealth management and family office, serving high-net-worth clients and their families. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner with an interest in progressing to Financial Adviser. If you’re ambitious, technically strong, and eager for advancement, this is a rare opportunity.
The Opportunity
As a Paraplanner, you’ll provide high-quality, relationship-driven support with a clear route to becoming an Adviser. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with an experienced Adviser while shaping client recommendations
- Developing technical skills and client-facing experience to transition into advisory
- Active involvement in client meetings to refine tailored financial proposals
- Full exposure to complex client cases, enhancing visibility in client relationships

This is not a back-office role. Instead, you’ll actively participate in decision-making and client engagements.
The Role
- Writing suitability reports—clear, compliant, and technically rigorous
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
- Supporting Advisers in crafting bespoke financial plans
- Performing cashflow modelling and long-term planning analysis
- Assisting with complex client cases, acting as the technical enquiry point
- Ensuring seamless client experience in collaboration with Advisers and Administrators
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a Paraplanner within wealth management (essential)
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (mandatory)
- Strong technical expertise in core advisory areas
- Proficiency in report writing and cashflow modelling
- Compliance and regulatory knowledge
- Organised, meticulous, and passionate about client-centred support
- Progressing towards Chartered status is advantageous but not mandatory
