Award-Winning Independent Financial Planning Business
Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing one of London’s highly regarded Independent Financial Planning businesses in their search for multiple talented Paraplanners.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a fully independent, award-winning wealth management firm that continues to experience exceptional growth, adviser expansion and increasing client demand.
With over 150 professionals across the business and in excess of £3 Billion Assets Under Management, our client has built an outstanding reputation for delivering truly holistic financial planning alongside first-class client care.
As a result of continued growth and several newly appointed Financial Planners joining the business, there is now a significant need for additional Paraplanning support to help drive advice delivery and maintain the exceptional standards the firm is known for.
The business is looking to appoint 2 to 3 experienced and technically capable Paraplanners to work closely alongside high-performing Financial Planners managing sophisticated and varied client portfolios.

The Role
This is a broad and technically focused Paraplanning position where you will play a key role in supporting advisers and helping deliver outstanding client outcomes.
You Will Be Heavily Involved In
- Preparing high-quality suitability reports
- Conducting technical research and analysis
- Supporting client review processes
- Assisting with portfolio and investment administration
- Working closely with advisers to deliver holistic financial planning solutions
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Relationship Management
- Assist with onboarding new clients including KYC and AML processes
- Maintain accurate client records and investment documentation
- Respond to client and adviser queries professionally and efficiently
- Prepare documentation for client meetings and reviews
Technical Research & Report Writing
- Conduct financial planning and investment research
- Build detailed suitability reports for adviser review
- Prepare technical analysis using FE Analytics and provider platforms
Investment & Operational Support
- Process investment instructions and client transactions
- Support portfolio valuations and investment proposal preparation
- Liaise with platforms and providers regarding settlements and transfers
- Ensure all processes are completed accurately and efficiently

Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to FCA and internal compliance procedures
- Conduct AML, KYC and due diligence checks
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records at all times
About You
To be considered, applicants should ideally demonstrate:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of competent Paraplanning experience
- Level 4 Diploma qualified (or close to completion)
- Strong technical knowledge across financial planning products and solutions
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
- Experience using advanced financial planning back office systems
- A professional, team-oriented and proactive approach
