Paraplanner

Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a Nationwide Wealth management company to recruit for a Paraplanner to join their office based in East Belfast. The role is full time, permanent and comes with excellent opportunity for growth and development.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and technically skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality financial planning support.

Working closely with the advisers, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional client outcomes while supporting the development of the wider paraplanning team. If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment, managing complex cases and mentoring others, then this could be the ideal role.

As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for supporting advisers and ensuring the efficient delivery of financial planning services. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing valuations and quotations, updating internal systems and providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of services for clients and advisers.
  • Analysing client data, conducting research and developing well-informed recommendations to support financial planning advice.
  • Producing accurate, professional and client-focused suitability reports to a consistently high standard.
  • Allocating work across the paraplanning team to ensure workloads are managed effectively and service standards are maintained.
  • Managing workflow and timescales, ensuring deadlines are met and work is delivered efficiently.
  • Training, mentoring and supporting trainee paraplanners and administrators, helping to develop their technical knowledge and professional skills.
  • Handling more complex client cases, applying technical expertise and attention to detail to deliver the best possible client outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
