High Calibre Paraplanner – Bath Office (Hybrid Working)

📍 Bath Office | 🏡 Hybrid (3 days in office) | 💼 Up to £50,000 per annum DOE | 🕒 Full-time (37.5 hrs, 8.30am–5.30pm)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, high-calibre Paraplanner, with a strong technical background in producing cashflow models and suitability reports. The role will report to an Advice Delivery Manager, with key responsibilities including:

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
  • Perform tax calculations
  • Construct tailored financial solutions and make recommendations to advisers
  • Write suitability reports for varying case complexities
  • Run cashflow modelling assignments for clients
  • Be the primary point of contact for technical planning queries (both team and client-facing)
  • Communicate updates to clients on research and reporting timelines
  • Attend client meetings when required
  • Assist in training new team members (mentorship)
  • Potentially contribute to project work for process improvement
  • Lead Pod (team) meetings
  • Conduct peer reviews for the paraplanning team

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be confident working with HNW (high-net-worth) clients and professional networks
  • Have exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of all financial products
  • Hold (or be working towards) CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with preference for those in CII Chartered status progression
  • Have 2–3+ years’ experience in a paraplanning role
  • Excellent IT skills (with advantageous industry experience in Curo, FE Analytics, or Voyant)
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong team player with good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised and capable of managing a busy workload

  • Salary: ÂŁ35,000–£50,000 (DOE, depending on experience)
