Paraplanner (Level 4+) – Hybrid | Cheshire East | £Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Are you looking for more than a traditional paraplanning role?

We're working with a highly respected, independent financial planning business in Cheshire East that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team.

This is a genuine opportunity to become an integral part of the advice process rather than simply producing reports. You'll work alongside an experienced Financial Planner and Administrator within a dedicated client team, attending client meetings, building sophisticated financial plans and helping shape advice for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.

If you enjoy solving complex financial planning challenges, collaborating with advisers and continuously developing your technical knowledge, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

The Role

  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports and recommendations
  • Build and maintain detailed cashflow models
  • Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, tax and protection
  • Attend client meetings and contribute to planning discussions
  • Work closely with Financial Planners and Administrators within a collaborative team structure
  • Support ongoing client reviews and complex financial planning cases

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
