Paraplanner – Position Open

🏆 🎉 We're proud to announce we’ve won Advice Firm of the Year at the Money Marketing Awards 🎉 🏆

Our team plays a key role in delivering Octopus Money’s mission – transforming the lives of our clients by helping them plan for their financial future. We care about meaningful work, moving quickly, and continuous learning.

We’re looking for a Paraplanner to join us. You’ll help deliver on our advice process, translating client goals into robust, compliant, and actionable financial strategies, while contributing to growth and supporting more people.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with Financial Advisers, ensuring clients receive top-tier technical analysis and tailored reporting. Expect to learn fast, collaborate across the business, and witness your impact daily.

About Octopus Money

🐙 We’re on a mission to become the most recommended financial services business in the UK. 🐙

Financial decisions shape every part of life—but many Brits lack the support they need:

  • Half of Brits reach retirement without savings enough for the life they want.
  • Financial stress drives poor mental health.
  • Only 8% have access to personalised financial advice.

There’s no shortage of information. What’s missing is clarity, guidance, and a personalised action plan.

That’s why we work differently. At Octopus Money, we combine financial planning, investment expertise, and smart technology to help people:

  • Understand their options with confidence
  • Build a clear savings, investment, and pension strategy
  • Invest simply with expert-built portfolios
  • Access tailored advice or coaching—or both—at key life moments

We believe everyone deserves pragmatic, flexible money support.

The Role & Opportunity

At Octopus Money, we give people control of their finances through financial coaching and regulated advice under one roof. This Paraplanner role pays you to address the advice gap—and do it in a whole new way by bridging advice and coaching.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
